Now let’s go save our son.
I was reminded today that I am not alone.
Because of all the people that tried to show Emma that she is loved. Of all the hugs she had. Of all the smiles they gave her. Of all the words they said to her. It was regina who made her realise that she IS loved. That she has a family and people caring for her. It’s Regina. Because Emma trusts Regina. She knows that Regina would never say something like that if it wasn’t true. She never really believed Snow or David when they said that they were happy they found her because deep down she couldn’t help but think about how they gave her up. Regina would not have any benefit to say that to Emma, yet she tells her and Emma listens to her and begins to accept that she is loved. Regina tells her something that is probably the most important thing that Emma had to know to find her strength. And they don’t talk about it but they understand each other, they know just what to say and how to react to calm each other. And that’s why Emma doesn’t even try to tell her that she’s wrong because she knows the only thing to do is to tell her that she is right, even if it’s heartbreaking. And once again, they unintentionally find strength in each other.
